📋 Description

• Serve as the bridge between software development and operations, delivering reliable, scalable, and secure production services. • Integrate continuous delivery practices with infrastructure automation. • Collaborate with developers, quality-assurance engineers, security specialists, and product owners. • Support engineering leadership with change control, CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance, and daily platform operations. • Specify, deploy, and qualify infrastructure systems. • Architect and implement automated, reproducible environments using infrastructure-as-code tools. • Build, tune, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines. • Build, manage, and optimize Kubernetes cluster workloads, including deployment, networking, storage, Helm charts, and resource governance. • Harden container images and implement Kubernetes RBAC and network policies. • Design and operate observability solutions with dashboards, alerts, and incident-management processes. • Embed shift-left security testing, secret management, role-based access controls, and automated vulnerability scans. • Maintain logging, metrics, and distributed tracing stacks. • Embed security best practices into the development lifecycle through DevSecOps. • Produce documentation and lead knowledge-sharing activities. • Document infrastructure, architecture, runbooks, and operational procedures. • Create, edit, and follow SOPs; improve processes and standardize templates. • Perform ad-hoc and cross-functional duties or projects as assigned.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience is required. • 3+ years of experience in Devops, site reliability engineering or infrastructure engineering is required. • Experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD is required. • Experience working with a Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology organization is preferred. • Strong knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tooling, including Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and ELK. • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals. • Ability to implement security best practices including image hardening, RBAC, network policies, and vulnerability scanning integration. • Strong knowledge and proficiency in Linux systems, Git, and container registry management. • Understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible. • Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar languages. • Technical knowledge and hands-on proficiency with Kubernetes, including deployment, networking, storage, and Helm. • Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams. • Ability to work cross functionally on teams. • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work in El Segundo, CA or remotely depending on geographic location as noted on the offer letter. • Regular work schedule is Monday–Friday within standard business hours. • Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer. • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds.
