📋 Description

• Provide intuitive and efficient customer experiences through customer-facing web applications • Work with the Engineering Team, Product Managers, Designers, and architecture team on new customer experiences • Drive complex system design and help guide engineering vision • Perform code reviews and mentor the development team on best practices • Make key design and technical implementation decisions for complex systems • Define requirements with stakeholders and transform them into scalable, reliable, developer-friendly microservice APIs • Design, build, and maintain sustainable systems supporting business applications • Improve processes and procedures and evangelize best practices • Contribute to end-to-end compliance initiatives • Practice technical design, develop new functionality, and maintain existing components • Regularly handle protected health information in paper and electronic form • Complete required privacy, compliance, and security training

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in computer science, comparable program, or equivalent • 7+ years of overall software development experience • Experience building secure, scalable web applications with Java and other web technologies • Experience with object-oriented programming in Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate • Experience with cloud technologies; AWS preferred • Experience with front-end development in React, Sass, and JavaScript is a plus • Experience with microservice enterprise architecture and cross-platform integration • Experience building scalable applications in heterogeneous environments • Experience with software development lifecycle processes, including build, software configuration, change control, release, and deployment • Strong relational database design and optimization skills • Object-oriented programming knowledge • Relational databases and SQL programming; MySQL or PostgreSQL preferred • AWS services such as SQS, S3, and SNS • Docker or container-oriented technologies • REST APIs and event-driven microservice architecture • Front-end technologies including React, Sass, Gulp, Rails, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Linux fundamentals • CI/CD • Quality assurance mindset • Demonstrated teamwork and analytical skills • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills • Must complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, general policies and procedures compliance, and security training within the first 30 days of hire • Must maintain current status on Natera training requirements
