📋 Description

• Build customer-facing web applications focused on intuitive and efficient user experiences • Work with the Engineering Team, Product Managers, Designers, architecture team, and stakeholders on new customer experiences • Drive complex system design and help guide engineering vision • Perform code reviews and mentor the development team on best practices • Make key design and technical implementation decisions for complex systems • Define requirements and transform them into scalable, reliable, developer-friendly microservices APIs • Design, build, and maintain sustainable systems supporting business applications • Improve processes and procedures and evangelize best practices • Contribute to end-to-end compliance initiatives • Practice technical design, develop new functionality, and maintain existing components • Work regularly with PHI in paper and electronic form • Complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, general policies and procedures compliance, and security training within the first 30 days • Maintain current Natera training requirements

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in computer science, comparable program, or equivalent • 7+ years of overall software development experience • Experience building secure, scalable web applications with Java and other web technologies • Experience with object-oriented programming in Java, Spring Framework, and Hibernate • Experience with cloud technologies; AWS preferred • Experience with micro-service enterprise architecture, cross-platform integration, and scalable applications in heterogeneous environments • Experience with software development lifecycle processes, including build, software configuration, change control, release, and deployment • Strong relational database design and optimization skills • Knowledge of SQL, preferably MySQL or PostgreSQL • Knowledge of AWS services such as SQS, S3, and SNS • Knowledge of Docker or container-oriented technologies • Knowledge of REST APIs and event-driven microservice architecture • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as React, Sass, Gulp, Rails, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript • Linux fundamentals • CI/CD knowledge • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills • Demonstrated teamwork skills
