📋 Description

• Manage the Quality Management System and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations • Facilitate collaboration across regions and departments to increase knowledge sharing and work process alignment • Collaborate with project teams to integrate quality considerations into engineering design and development processes • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions on quality procedures and requirements • Lead improvement initiatives for work processes and project team templates • Lead audit processes across projects to gauge consistency and adherence to quality requirements and procedures • Conduct regular audits and assessments of engineering processes • Identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions • Establish and maintain KPIs to measure and track quality metrics • Present quality findings to relevant stakeholders • Interface with suppliers and vendors to establish quality requirements and perform supplier quality assessments • Prepare monthly Quality Compliance reports for engineering management • Solicit feedback on the Quality Management System and opportunities for revisions • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and quality-related issues • Implement preventative measures to avoid future occurrences • Champion documentation of lessons learned and implementation of continuous improvement actions • Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to proactively address potential quality issues

🎯 Requirements

• 10 years of proven experience, preferably in a consulting environment • Well-rounded expertise in the oil & gas, power generation, or utilities industry • Experience in heavy industrial engineering projects such as manufacturing, chemicals, steel, mining, or materials processing will also be considered • In-depth knowledge of quality control methodologies, standards, and regulatory requirements • Familiarity with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities • Keen attention to detail • Thorough understanding and aptitude in current computer software, including MS Office products and design and business enterprise software • Proficiency in project management tools and project control principles • Exceptional presentation, oral, and written communication skills • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization • Ability to convey complex quality information to internal and external stakeholders • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities • PMP Certification is desirable but not required • Ability to pass a post-offer drug and alcohol test, including marijuana, in compliance with Federal regulations • Subject to random testing as a condition of continued employment
