📋 Description

• Provide software and Java development expertise across the Software Development Lifecycle • Design, develop, document, test, and debug application software • Develop and implement web application user interfaces using ReactJS • Build XML samples and appropriate XSD based on requirements and applicable standards • Translate UX/UI concepts into functional components • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and development teams on cloud-based capabilities and COTS software • Analyze user needs and software requirements for feasibility within time and cost constraints • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, and cross-functional teams on software design, limitations, capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces • Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models • Coordinate software testing and deployment to ensure specifications are met • Assist the Scrum Master and Scrum Team with technical expertise for contract deliverables • Support the Chief Enterprise Architect, Release Train Engineer, senior leadership, and client on software development best practices • Support Quality Assurance and Quality Control verification throughout applicable software development phases • Collaborate with government Product Owners, cross-functional teams, and client vendors to support rapid software integration and interoperability • Ensure the quality of services and deliverables across the contract • Ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with government and corporate policies

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA, 10 years with MS/MA, or 7 years with Ph.D. • Active Secret clearance • Hands-on experience building with AI agents, including multi-step reasoning, tool use, RAG pipelines, or autonomous task execution • Experience integrating LLMs into production or near-production applications • Experience designing and building integrations to external information sources • Experience packaging external capabilities as agent tools or skills with clean interfaces, predictable inputs and outputs, error handling, and documentation • Strong Python skills (3.12+), including async/await patterns, type hints, and modern Python tooling • Experience with FastAPI/Python backends, React frontends, Docker containerization, and PostgreSQL • Experience building and consuming web APIs, including REST or GraphQL • Knowledge of authentication, pagination, rate limiting, retry/backoff, schema mapping, deduplication, and caching • Experience with workflow or task orchestration systems such as Airflow, Prefect, or Celery, or comparable agent orchestration patterns • Familiarity with agentic frameworks and concepts including chains, tool calling, and agent loops • Experience working with LLM APIs such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or AWS Bedrock • Knowledge of secrets management, OAuth and API-key handling, rate-limit etiquette, defensive parsing, and prompt-injection awareness • Product mindset focused on end users • Comfort operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving environment
