• Support development, modernization, and migration in a government multi-cloud environment with 70+ customer tenants • Design and lead implementation of cloud systems requirements and architecture • Serve as the Tier 3 technical escalation point for complex AWS incidents and outages • Investigate and resolve issues across EC2, RDS, S3, VPC, Lambda, and IAM • Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective solutions to prevent recurrence • Manage high-priority incident communications with stakeholders, leadership, and affected tenants • Define and enforce monitoring standards using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Dynatrace, Splunk, and other tools • Identify and mitigate infrastructure risks proactively • Analyze performance trends and architect optimizations for stability, efficiency, and security at scale • Manage and maintain AWS GovCloud infrastructure across a 70+ tenant environment • Ensure tenant resources are secure, FedRAMP compliant, and continuously optimized • Partner with Architecture to design and implement AWS Well-Architected solutions • Own and enforce team Change Management procedures • Lead incident intake, triage prioritization, and workload management • Mentor and train Tier 2 engineers and lead knowledge-transfer sessions • Improve team metrics and service delivery with the Service Delivery Manager and ISR Product Owner • Maintain documentation of incident response procedures, architecture decisions, and lessons learned
• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience, or Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience, or high school diploma/equivalent and 12 years of experience • US Citizenship required • Ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust Security Clearance (Entry on Duty) • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification required • Experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications in AWS cloud environments • Hands-on experience with EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS GovCloud • Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, application integration, and production environments in a DevOps or Platform Engineering environment • Experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform for automation, configuration management, and deployment orchestration • Experience developing automation and scripting solutions using Bash, Python, PowerShell, or similar languages • Knowledge of AWS security services, IAM, encryption, logging, and FedRAMP security requirements • Experience troubleshooting production incidents, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions in enterprise environments • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to develop technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams • Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or relevant AWS Specialty certification • Preferred: proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CodePipeline • Preferred: advanced scripting with PowerShell, Python, or AWS CLI • Preferred: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional • Preferred: relevant Agile certification such as SAFe or CSM • Preferred: Red Hat Ansible or equivalent configuration management experience
• Target salary range of $104,000–$166,000 base pay • Employees may be eligible for overtime • Shift differential may be available • Discretionary bonus may be available
