📋 Description

• Build and operate cloud services and infrastructure behind Passport and Authentication systems • Design, build, test, and maintain cloud services and workflows • Develop and operate cloud-native services across AWS and GCP • Use Go and Python to deliver production-ready code from design through rollout and operational support • Use AWS technologies including Kinesis, DynamoDB, and S3 • Improve service reliability, scalability, performance, security, and maintainability • Evaluate technical tradeoffs involving reliability, latency, security, cost, complexity, and delivery timelines • Identify technical issues and operational risks and collaborate on solutions • Partner with software engineering, test engineering, research, and product teams • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical discussions • Investigate and resolve production issues • Improve monitoring, alerting, runbooks, deployments, and service quality • Use observability tools to troubleshoot systems and reduce recurring operational problems • Contribute documentation, knowledge sharing, and engineering best practices • Participate in the team’s on-call rotation

🎯 Requirements

• 2–5 years of software engineering experience • Expertise in Golang (Go) • Experience with cloud computing environments, especially AWS or GCP • Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and concurrency • Knowledge of data storage technologies such as Redis and MySQL • Knowledge of Docker and container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes • Linux/Unix system internals knowledge • Proven track record of providing stable and secure production code • Experience working closely with Product and Customer Engagement teams • Experience with customers and real-world use cases in Pindrop or a related security field preferred • Experience with AWS managed services such as S3, ElastiCache, and DynamoDB preferred • Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs preferred • CI/CD pipeline experience using Git, Jenkins, and Spinnaker preferred • Infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform or AWS CDK preferred • Python experience preferred • Excellent communication and precise documentation skills • Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and cover after-hours alerts
