📋 Description

• Establish solutions for building, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure for Ping Identity’s cloud-based services • Design and deliver solutions for software and services on cloud-hosted production infrastructure • Review and provide feedback on solutions delivered by other engineers • Shape development and deployment of mission-critical enterprise software using optimized, automated CI/CD pipelines • Help design, build, and support cloud infrastructure and security technologies for resiliency, observability, and optimized cost • Communicate with different audiences and share expertise to support team growth • Participate in work planning and identify areas for improvement • Perform technology evaluation and selection • Participate in an on-call rotation for cloud solution maintenance • Collaborate across integrated Development and Operations teams following a DevOps model with continuous daily deployments

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in scalable, distributed systems architecture • Experience with Cloud Platforms • Experience programming using Go • Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker • Experience with orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes • Experience defining and implementing automated service deployments, including networking, security, reliability, management, reporting, and configuration management • In-depth understanding of best practices for deployment automation • Experience using Git in a team environment (pull requests, branching, push, and pulls) • CS Degree or equivalent experience • Advantage: in-depth understanding of networking, including routing, naming, security, network performance, and network failure modes • Advantage: in-depth understanding of identity and access management • Advantage: experience with instrumentation and management of automated deployments • Advantage: experience resolving customer deployment issues • Advantage: experience working with distributed teams • Advantage: understanding of CI/CD processes and experience building CI/CD pipelines
