📋 Description

• Lead presales discovery, analysis, architecture, design, and proposals for solutions mapped to customer outcomes • Drive discovery of customers’ IT current state, goals, outcomes, and initiatives across business, technical, operational, and financial facets • Research industry trends and develop discovery approaches • Develop and lead customer workshops • Document customer current state using back-office tools to support future architectures and roadmaps • Identify customer stakeholders, success criteria, and needs • Create and lead technical solution approaches and next steps • Coordinate Presidio and vendor-partner technical resources • Engage management, directors, and C-level executives • Analyze client requirements and determine target architectures and design solutions across hardware, software, licensing, cloud, managed services, delivery services, and consulting • Create and deliver technical proposals, drawings, diagrams, and analysis to clients • Lead strategic technical roadmap discussions • Maintain technical excellence across relevant solution architecture and product areas • Deliver technical knowledge, presentations, and conversations at all client levels and customer events • Participate in technical champion programs and communities • Attain certifications when appropriate and present emerging technical topics • Participate in account planning, technical profiles, solution summaries, and social events • Engage team members and contribute to collaboration tools and an inclusive team culture • Develop vendor-partner relationships and execute partner go-to-market strategies • Use partner tools, sizers, and training opportunities • Execute enablement plans and career-development activities • Improve presales processes and go-to-market activities • Mentor and enable colleagues in sales and presales • Share methods, content, best practices, and lessons learned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience • 7+ years of working experience in systems engineering and/or solution architecture • Understanding of common IT and Cloud Operating Models, Enterprise Frameworks, and practices, including OSI and ITIL • Effective presentation and verbal skills across various platforms • Expert-level knowledge and experience designing, implementing, and supporting Cisco switching and routing platforms, including Catalyst, Nexus, ISR, ASR, and Industrial Ethernet switches • Experience with Cisco Wireless Controllers and access points • Experience with Meraki switches and access points • Experience with security platforms including Palo Alto, Cisco FTD, Meraki MX, and Fortinet • Experience with NAC platforms such as Cisco ISE or Aruba ClearPass • Experience with cloud platform connectivity including AWS DirectConnect, Azure ExpressRoute, and Google Connect • Experience with management platforms such as Cisco DNA Center, Prime, Aruba Cloud Central, or SolarWinds • Experience with SDN and virtualization architectures such as SDA • Preferred: data center connectivity such as VPC and LACP • Preferred: security, compliance, and governance frameworks and tools • Preferred: authentication/authorization and directory services • Preferred: industry certifications with Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, AWS, etc. • Preferred: Aruba CX switching, wireless controllers, and access points • Preferred: Arista switches and access points • Preferred: Cisco Commerce tools such as CCW • Presales experience with a strong bias for action • Program or project management experience • Experience driving complex multidisciplinary IT projects • Experience preparing RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and solutions • Comfort leading CIO/CTO-level presentations, solution demonstrations, and whiteboard sessions • Experience reviewing and/or writing statements of work and bills of material for network, wireless, and security projects • Ability to travel up to 25%
