📋 Description

• Analyze clinical, business and technical processes and problems to recommend new or modified systems • Identify, evaluate, and develop cost-effective systems and procedures • Gather departmental needs and prioritize development initiatives • Analyze workflows, recommend solutions, and implement application solutions • Translate departmental requests into business functional requirements • Perform financial analysis, business plans, and impact assessments • Support internal customers across clinical, administrative, financial, and operational departments • Manage system upgrades and small projects • Create and maintain reports from integrated databases • Code programs, maintain tables and profiles, build screens and pathways, and develop job run procedures • Act as the communication hub between assigned departments and Prisma Health IS • Prepare and install applications, including workflow analysis, design, programming/building, testing, training, and implementation • Develop implementation timelines and resolve outstanding issues • Prepare test scenarios and schedules, organize integration testing, monitor performance, and track issues to resolution • Participate in disaster recovery planning • Complete tasks on time and ensure data integrity and regression testing • Create training materials when appropriate and assess curricula • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study • Two (2) years related experience in a business, computer science or clinical field/setting • In lieu of the education and experience requirements: Associate degree in Computer Science or related field of study and four (4) years of related Information Technology experience may be considered • In lieu of the education and experience requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent and seven (7) years related Information Technology experience may be considered • CPHIMS preferred • SQL database knowledge preferred • Project management software, concepts and tracking skills preferred • Working knowledge of health care software applications preferred • Perl/Java/XML/Linux/Apache skills preferred • HL/7 preferred
