📋 Description

• Manage and process payroll for all employees across multiple states and jurisdictions, accurately and on time • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements • Oversee payroll system functionality, upgrades, and integrations with HRIS, accounting, and benefits systems • Maintain payroll records and ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity • Manage year-end activities, including W-2s, 1099s, and other required filings • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies professionally and promptly • Collaborate with HR and Finance on compensation and benefits programs as they relate to payroll • Develop and maintain payroll policies, procedures, and controls to improve efficiency and mitigate risk

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • 5+ years of payroll experience • Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll laws and regulations • Ability to support an organization with a footprint in 30+ states • Experience with UKG Ready strongly preferred • Advanced Excel skills • Familiarity with accounting principles • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and organizational skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable
