📋 Description

• Lead and coordinate testing of software produced by the project delivery team for utility clients • Prepare test strategies and support project teams in delivering changes • Advocate for QA best practices and lead automation initiatives • Lead QA for high-visibility projects with multiple work streams • Coordinate testing activities with multiple vendors • Produce test estimates, strategies, plans, status reports, results, risk documentation, traceability, defect management, and test coverage • Manage multiple tasks while maintaining high quality standards • Analyze complex technical and conceptual information and present understandable alternatives to technical and nontechnical stakeholders • Comply with PMO and Test Practice documentation, policies, and best practices • Communicate with stakeholders regarding project goals, targets, activities, and schedules • Deliver daily and weekly testing status reports, including risk identification • Manage creation and ongoing development of an automated testing framework • Recommend and lead test-process improvement initiatives and develop team members • Define, develop, and deploy product QA strategy across all product-development phases • Assure the viability, functionality, and effectiveness of test tools • Define and implement test strategies for maximum test coverage • Coordinate use and maintenance of test environments • Create and execute test cases when needed • Provide test coverage reports for each software release • Report detailed defects

🎯 Requirements

• 7 years of work experience in the electric utility industry • 10 years of QA or equivalent work experience, including at least 4 years as a QA Lead with implementation project experience • Experience with ADMS/OMS/SCADA/EMS software vendor systems such as OSI Monarch, GE Reliance, GE GridOS, and Oracle NMS • End-to-end quality assurance experience throughout the Software Development Life Cycle, including waterfall and agile • Hands-on knowledge of unit, integration, regression, UAT, performance, and automated testing • Strong project management and organizational skills • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or experience in systems development and/or QA role • US citizen or permanent resident • Five years of experience with cybersecurity industry-related test development and new product development • Experience with QA for SaaS software supporting SOC 2 trust services principles • Experience within a Testing Center of Excellence (TCOE) or Organizational Test Practice • Hands-on experience with BlazeMeter, OctoPerf, TcpDump, Network Monitor, JIRA, Confluence, Linux, Selenium, JMeter, LoadRunner, Continuous Integration and Delivery, Bitbucket, SQL, NoSQL, Splunk, Sumo Logic, and AWS • Experience with POC, acceptance, functional, regression, and smoke tests • Experience creating performance scripts • Experience with source configuration management and defect tracking systems • Experience writing scripts to create defect lists/job execution • Experience defining capacity and service-level metrics • Experience building dashboards for system defects • Familiarity with microservices architecture and server logfiles
