📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for customers using Microsoft Azure for critical business workloads • Partner with IT leaders, architects, and engineering teams to design, optimize, secure, and operate enterprise-scale Azure environments • Help customers mature cloud strategy and operational capabilities • Lead architecture discussions across Azure networking, identity, security, governance, and infrastructure services • Design and review solutions using Azure Virtual Networks, ExpressRoute, VPN connectivity, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, Azure Storage, Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, and other core services • Establish Azure Landing Zones and governance frameworks using Management Groups, Azure Policy, and tagging strategies • Provide technical leadership for managed customer environments by evaluating performance, reliability, security, and cost optimization opportunities • Guide adoption of operational best practices using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery • Lead complex troubleshooting, major incident reviews, root cause analysis, and operational improvement initiatives • Advise on Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access, PIM, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Microsoft Sentinel, and Zero Trust principles • Promote Infrastructure as Code and platform engineering using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, PowerShell, and Azure CLI • Develop automated deployment and operational processes using Azure DevOps and GitHub • Support cloud modernization involving Azure SQL, Azure Functions, AKS, Azure Container Registry, Azure Data Factory, Azure App Service, Event Grid, and Service Bus • Conduct architecture assessments, Azure Well-Architected Framework reviews, cloud health reviews, executive briefings, and technical workshops • Mentor consultants and engineers and contribute to operational standards, best practices, tools, templates, and runbooks

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, enterprise architecture, or technology consulting • 8+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating Microsoft Azure environments • Proven experience architecting enterprise-scale Azure solutions across networking, identity, security, governance, compute, storage, monitoring, and platform services • Deep expertise with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure Policy, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, backup, disaster recovery, and cloud security best practices • Experience designing hybrid-cloud, multi-subscription, multi-region, and highly available architectures using ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, private endpoints, load balancing, and DNS • Hands-on experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, PowerShell, or Azure CLI • Strong understanding of cloud operations, monitoring and observability, incident management, root cause analysis, change management, IT service management, and managed services delivery • Experience leading customer-facing architecture engagements and communicating with technical teams, business leaders, and executive stakeholders • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience • Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) required • At least one additional relevant certification required, such as Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) • US citizenship or Green Card authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship unavailable • Preferred: Microsoft-focused consulting or systems integrator experience; Azure managed services experience; Azure Landing Zones; Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework; Azure Well-Architected Framework; Cloud FinOps; Kubernetes; containerized workloads; Microsoft Sentinel; security operations; regulatory or compliance environments; Azure DevOps; GitHub Actions; CI/CD; Azure AI Foundry infrastructure; ITIL and ITSM platforms • Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100), or Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
