📋 Description

• Lead electrical engineering and design for advanced microgrids, industrial power systems, and renewable energy integration projects • Translate customer requirements into engineering plans and validate designs against expectations • Plan and manage projects for on-time delivery and compliance with budgets and standards • Mentor junior engineers and designers on power systems fundamentals • Design and draft low- and medium-voltage power distribution systems, generation integration, and critical facility switchgear • Create CAD and Revit construction documents, single-line diagrams, and physical layouts • Perform short-circuit, equipment evaluation, protective device coordination, and arc-flash studies using SKM or ETAP • Develop specifications for fuses, transformers, switchgear, and protective relays • Conduct field investigations of existing industrial electrical systems • Interface with asset owners, utilities, engineering leads, procurement teams, and construction crews • Provide construction administration and commissioning support, including BOM reviews, submittal evaluations, and completion reports • Assist with technical troubleshooting during installation and startup of microgrid controls and switchgear

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution or equivalent • 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering design focused on industrial power systems, heavy infrastructure, microgrids, or renewable energy integration • Fluency in AutoCAD; Revit is a plus • Hands-on experience with SKM or ETAP modeling software highly preferred • Deep understanding of NEC/NFPA 70, NESC/IEEE C2, and protective relaying philosophies • Ability to manage engineering deliverables for multiple fast-tracked projects simultaneously • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting, business justifications, and client-facing presentations • Detail-oriented focus on accuracy, safety, and quality in industrial construction documentation
