📋 Description

• Build, operate, and secure the AWS environment running Seeking.com products • Extend Terraform module libraries and AFT customization layers for secure, consistent account provisioning • Design VPC architecture, cross-account networking, and hub-and-spoke shared services • Migrate legacy brand infrastructure into current account, state backend, and module standards • Design and build cross-region disaster recovery, including Aurora replication, backups, S3/EFS replication, image distribution, DNS failover, and region-parity IaC • Establish RPO/RTO targets, recovery tiers, and restoration order with the business • Standardize backup policies and retention across the AWS estate • Run scheduled DR tests and game days and create recovery runbooks • Design least-privilege IAM policies and IAM Identity Center permission sets • Replace long-lived credentials with federated SSO, OIDC, and assumed-role access • Author and maintain SCPs, organization controls, and automated remediation • Extend AWS Config, Security Hub, and GuardDuty detective controls and manage findings • Own secrets management in Secrets Manager and SSM Parameter Store, including rotation • Support incident response and CloudTrail forensics and convert findings into engineering fixes • Operate monitoring, alerting, AWS Backup, patching, and lifecycle management • Improve Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, and CloudWatch alarm coverage • Debug production issues across compute, storage, networking, and databases • Automate operational work in Python and Bash and improve infrastructure CI/CD • Keep Control Tower and the landing zone current and contribute to cost visibility and optimization • Report to the Director of IT

🎯 Requirements

• Five or more years building and operating production AWS infrastructure • Strong Terraform experience in a team setting, including module design and versioning, remote state, drift, and PR-based workflows • Multi-account AWS Organizations or Control Tower experience, including SCPs and cross-account IAM • Deep IAM knowledge: policy and trust-policy design, permission boundaries, and least privilege • Production container experience on ECS or Kubernetes, and managed relational databases • Python or Bash for automation and tooling • Experience migrating or consolidating legacy infrastructure without downtime • Clear writing and judgment to weigh risk, cost, and delivery speed • Daily use of Claude, Claude Code, and Cowork in the engineering workflow • AFT, Landing Zone Accelerator, or similar account-vending automation experience preferred • IAM Identity Center or SAML/OIDC federation with an external IdP preferred • Experience designing and testing cross-region DR against defined RPO and RTO targets preferred • Aurora operations at scale preferred • Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Config, or SIEM-style CloudTrail analysis preferred • EDR tooling such as CrowdStrike preferred • AWS Backup at organization scale preferred • Cloudflare or comparable CDN and WAF experience preferred • Data or AI workloads on AWS preferred • Experience working with distributed teams across time zones preferred • AWS certifications preferred • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent operational track record preferred • Must be located in the USA • Must be able to work three evenings per week from 5:30 to 7:30 PM US Pacific to overlap with Singapore partners • Background and reference check required • Must be 18 years of age or older
