📋 Description

• Provide technical support and/or leadership in creating and delivering technology solutions supporting customers’ digital transformation • Provide services to customers, comprising approximately 75% of the role • Work on complex project scopes with minimal direction from customer/SI representatives • Contribute to deliverable design and deployment of Rocket products • Implement new solutions under Delivery Architect direction • Create proof-of-concept/proof-of-value technology analyses and pilots • Conduct external and internal technical presentations and trainings • Participate in technical forums and professional communities • Solve common technical issues using subject-matter expertise • Participate as part of a team and maintain relationships with team members and customers • Lead technical solution implementation, comprising approximately 25% of the role • Lead a team and communicate project status and risks to stakeholders • Advise customers on technical matters • Maintain knowledge of architecture, versions, and requirements • Determine technical resource requirements and coordinate resource requests with the Project Manager • Coordinate technical communications, new requirements, scope changes, and delivery impacts with the Project Manager • Determine whether changes are product defects or enhancements • Estimate new project requirements and obtain Architect or Manager approval • Conduct or assign code reviews

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant technical experience • Excellent communication / customer service skills / confident telephone manner • Proactive and able to work under pressure • Experience in complex IT project implementations, customizations and or maintenance • Analytical mindset to analyse test results and facilitate defect resolution • Organized and methodical, dealing with numerous tasks • Fluent in written and verbal English • Technical skills in two or more of: IBM Enterprise COBOL or PL/I programming; IBM CICS, IMS and JCL; relational databases such as IBM DB2/UDB, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL; Windows; Linux/UNIX; AWS, Azure, GCP, Cloud Foundry, Docker/Kubernetes • Practical mainframe application modernization project experience highly desirable • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred) • Relevant business and IT architecture certifications (preferred) • Proficient in another EU language (preferred)
