📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications supporting GSS Security • Develop new features using ASP.NET MVC, C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and SQL Server • Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects for large enterprise datasets • Troubleshoot complex issues across application code, SQL Server, and production environments • Automate manual compliance processes through software solutions • Collaborate with system stakeholders to translate operational requirements into technical solutions • Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and continuous improvement activities • Maintain and modernize existing applications while developing new capabilities • Document technical designs, database changes, and application functionality • Work across the full application stack, including databases, backend services, web applications, and production troubleshooting • Work within an agile team and DevOps framework • Partner with GSS Center of Excellence personnel and Digital Technology partners

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience • 5 years of direct experience in Software Engineering • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date • Current Secret security clearance required on day 1 • U.S. citizenship required • Must reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states, excluding U.S. territories • Experience designing SQL Server stored procedures, views, functions, indexes, and query optimization • Experience with DevSecOps, including Azure DevOps, Git, Pull Requests, CI/CD, and work item management • Experience with C#, SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or ASP.NET MVC • Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, Stored Procedures, REST APIs, JSON, jQuery, Bootstrap, DataTables, IIS, Azure DevOps, and Git • Experience in Agile development methods, Scrum, automated testing, and continuous integration preferred • Experience developing applications supporting cybersecurity, compliance, governance, or enterprise operations preferred • Understanding of layered, event-tier, microkernel, and other software development architectural frameworks preferred • Experience implementing compliance regulations such as DFARS, DAAPM, JASIG, ICD, FAA, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, and/or other government requirements preferred
