📋 Description

• Monitor, control, and isolate problems in a data communications network • Monitor all network activity • Activate and deactivate network lines according to established schedules • Perform first- and/or second-level problem determination; first level is help desk • Interface with users and network vendors • Provide technical support for LAN/WAN or a section of a larger network • Perform network installation, modification, and testing • Work under general supervision for routine work and detailed instructions for new activities or special assignments • Obtain or provide information and data requiring explanation or interpretation
