📋 Description

• Serve as a technical cornerstone of SAIC’s technology stack for the VA Medical Disability Exam program • Provide technical advisory leadership to the program team • Partner with development and engineering teams to design and implement enterprise-scale solutions • Provide architectural direction and lead delivery teams across complex program initiatives • Own technical solutions across requirements, architecture, build, validation, and transition • Ensure alignment with business objectives, best practices, and industry standards • Examine current systems architecture and identify dependencies and gaps • Recommend solutions meeting compliance, interoperability, and scalability requirements • Apply engineering disciplines to planning, design, analysis, coding, testing, rollout, and support of information systems architectures • Initiate, supervise, and develop requirements for complex programs • Stay current on emerging health AI technologies, clinical AI models, and cloud-native patterns, translating knowledge into actionable guidance and architectures

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field and 14 years or more experience, or master’s degree and 3 years of related experience • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, and/or Google Professional Cloud Architect • Working knowledge across cloud, AI/ML, cyber, software development, systems engineering, and enterprise architecture • Strong ability to integrate diverse technologies into complex enterprise environments • Must be able to obtain/maintain a public trust position and favorable suitability based on Background Investigation • Preferred: Cloud Cost Modeling or experience with cloud cost optimization tools • Preferred: Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines • Preferred: Experience supporting Federal government, healthcare, or other highly regulated environments • Preferred: Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such as HIPAA and FedRAMP
