📋 Description

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of scalable, reliable, and secure foundational enterprise platform solutions • Define and drive technical strategy and roadmap for API Platform capabilities • Establish API-first and contract-first engineering methodologies across cross-functional teams • Lead complex cross-team initiatives and resolve architectural dependencies and technical ambiguity • Design platform capabilities enabling parallel feature development and incremental software delivery at scale • Serve as a technical authority and partner to engineers, architects, product managers, and engineering leadership • Mentor engineers through architectural guidance, design feedback, and technical coaching • Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools for architecture, development, testing, debugging, and documentation • Lead technical design reviews covering scalability, availability, security, performance, operability, and maintainability • Drive automated testing, continuous integration, observability, release management, and DevOps automation • Identify and address systemic technical risks, architectural gaps, and platform simplification opportunities • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production and platform issues across systems and organizational boundaries • Use metrics, telemetry, and engineering data to evaluate platform effectiveness and guide technical investment • Evaluate emerging technologies and industry practices for platform scalability, developer experience, reliability, and efficiency

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience • 8+ years of software engineering experience • Experience designing and delivering large-scale enterprise or platform solutions • Experience leading architecture and delivery of complex systems spanning multiple teams, services, or product areas • Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript • Deep understanding of API design, distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, and enterprise integration patterns • Experience designing AWS infrastructure using VPC, Lambda, ECS, RDS, and API Gateway • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automated public cloud provisioning • Experience designing automated CI/CD and DevOps pipelines, such as GitHub Actions or GitLab pipelines • Experience using AI-assisted coding and engineering tools with quality, security, and review controls • Experience delivering business-critical software in complex, fast-paced environments • Ability to make architectural decisions under ambiguity and communicate technical tradeoffs • Strong problem-solving skills for complex systemic engineering challenges • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience influencing technical direction across teams • Experience building APIs and services using contract-first development • Ability to use metrics and data for continuous improvement and technical decisions • Ability to mentor senior engineers and raise technical standards • Preferred: Salesforce technologies, platforms, or enterprise SaaS experience • Preferred: Enterprise API architecture, lifecycle management, integration patterns, and governance • Preferred: AWS certifications or equivalent cloud architecture expertise • Preferred: Event-driven and asynchronous architectures using Kinesis, SNS, SQS, or EventBridge • Preferred: Docker and Kubernetes • Preferred: Reusable CI/CD platforms, deployment frameworks, or developer productivity tooling • Preferred: Highly available, observable, resilient distributed systems at enterprise scale • Preferred: Technical standards, reference architectures, or platform capabilities adopted across engineering organizations
