• Develop hosted Windows desktop infrastructure and application/load balancing environments • Monitor incident response alerts affecting infrastructure and business operations • Document and manage work through ticketing and change-control processes • Perform deployment, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting • Provide hardware, software, and maintenance support for Nutanix and VMware platforms • Gather application-team and vendor requirements for load balancing and VDI image/application provisioning • Provide senior-level operational support • Design, implement, maintain, and support Windows virtual environments and Citrix ADC • Serve as technical leader for virtualized workstreams • Define virtual endpoint environments aligned with enterprise architecture plans and strategies • Collaborate with IT, business units, functional teams, field personnel, and internal/external audit functions • Document the production installed state of the platform using an As-Is Diagram • Perform other duties as assigned • Supervisory responsibilities may be required
• Associate’s Degree in a technical field • Citrix certification is required • Required certification: CITRIX-CCA • CCA-V minimum; CCP-V or CCE-V preferred • 10 or more years of hands-on experience engineering, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level Nutanix and/or VMware virtualization systems • 10 years of direct experience with Citrix-based solutions • 7 or more years of experience designing, engineering, implementing, and maintaining solutions in secure processing environments adhering to U.S. healthcare regulations and guidelines • 7 or more years of hands-on experience implementing, operating, and maintaining virtualization, storage, data protection, and networking solutions • Experience monitoring and assessing virtualization and storage infrastructure for performance degradation, tuning, and optimization • Strong Citrix engineering background, including architecture and deployment • Strong load balancing experience • Experience managing Active Directory and Azure • Windows Server administration • Group policy management • DNS experience • Strong networking skills and IT infrastructure knowledge • Excellent ADC (NetScaler) and virtual desktop skills • Advanced computer systems administration and automation skills • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to communicate, teach, collaborate, and train technical staff • Ability to abstract key information for technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to lift 20 lbs
