📋 Description

• Design and build reliable, performant, and secure distributed backend services, primarily in Java • Use Python, Go, and other technologies as needed • Analyze data pipelines and troubleshoot distributed systems • Optimize latency and improve system failure modes • Contribute to technical design discussions and shape product direction • Review teammates’ code and participate in rigorous code review • Participate in on-call rotations • Investigate production issues, write root-cause analyses, and implement preventative improvements • Keep technical knowledge current and share new technologies, patterns, and tools • Build and operate systems powering SentinelOne’s dashboard, visualization layer, and Singularity Data Lake integrations

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering experience with a solid computer science foundation • Strong Java proficiency with 3–5 years of hands-on experience • Comfort reading and writing Python • Real experience building and operating distributed systems in production • Fluency with containerization and cloud infrastructure, including Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, AWS or GCP • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins or GitHub Actions • Familiarity with cloud data stores, including S3, DynamoDB, Redis, and RDBMS • Polyglot mindset and ability to pick up new languages and technologies quickly • Ability to write concise, readable, maintainable code • Strong communication instincts, including asking questions early, surfacing concerns, and giving constructive feedback • Collaborative, low-ego working style • U.S. work authorization context: SentinelOne participates in the E-Verify Program for all U.S.-based roles
