📋 Description

• Own significant pieces of the sale-to-production lifecycle from technical design through shipping and iteration • Design and build full-stack features across the C#/.NET backend and React/TypeScript frontend • Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate contractor needs into shipped software • Make technical decisions within the area of ownership and collaborate on cross-cutting or architecturally significant choices • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code • Participate in code reviews • Debug and resolve complex issues across the stack, including performance and reliability problems in distributed systems • Contribute to technical design discussions and evolve product architecture • Communicate progress, tradeoffs, and risks with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders • Build ServiceTitan's Exteriors vertical product covering roofing, siding, windows, and gutters workflows

🎯 Requirements

• Equivalent of 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including building production systems used by real customers • Strong full-stack ability with hands-on experience in C#/.NET and React/TypeScript, or comparable strongly typed backend and modern frontend frameworks • Solid understanding of SQL databases, including Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent, and efficient, reliable data model design • Working knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture • Proficiency with Git, unit testing, debugging, and performance profiling • Strong communication and technical writing skills • Comfort with ambiguity and evolving priorities and requirements • Genuine interest in understanding contractor sales and production workflows • B.S., M.S., or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
