• Support and implement organizational design initiatives within the strategic framework established by People Team leadership • Manage organizational diagnostics, analysis, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and implementation activities • Translate organizational design priorities into project plans and execution roadmaps • Conduct organizational effectiveness assessments, restructuring initiatives, role design, span of control analysis, and organizational health evaluations • Build workforce models, conduct skills gap analyses, run scenario planning, and create data-driven workforce recommendations • Develop and maintain organizational design tools, frameworks, guidelines, and best-practice documentation • Analyze organizational data to identify inefficiencies, role ambiguities, alignment gaps, and optimization opportunities • Facilitate cross-functional discovery sessions, working sessions, stakeholder input, and communications • Create current-state assessments, future-state org charts, role profiles, implementation plans, and executive presentations • Partner with People Analytics to inform organizational design decisions and measure organizational effectiveness • Manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues • Provide organizational design consulting and practical recommendations aligned with university priorities • Serve as strategic HR Business Partner for assigned client groups • Partner with People Team functions to deliver integrated people solutions • Support succession planning, leadership coaching, organizational change, employee relations, and workforce planning • Leverage workforce analytics and HR technology to identify trends and support data-driven decisions • Pilot organizational design solutions and provide feedback for enterprise-wide approaches • Engage and influence stakeholders across the university to drive alignment, adoption, and execution • Support change management related to organizational transformations, including communication, training, and adoption • Contribute organizational design and HRBP insights to People Team strategic planning • Perform other responsibilities as assigned
• 8 years of progressive human resources experience focused on organizational design, workforce planning, and HRBP work • At least 3 years in a strategic HRBP role • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field • Experience building organizational design projects • Experience with data analysis and interpretation, translating data into actionable recommendations • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and translating strategy into execution plans • Experience with organizational design methodologies, including role design, organizational assessment, and workforce planning • Knowledge of compensation principles such as job evaluation, leveling, and market benchmarking • Strategic HRBP experience with credibility as a business partner and consultant to leaders • Experience communicating and presenting to influence stakeholders across organizational levels • Proficiency with HRIS systems; Workday preferred • Experience working collaboratively in a matrixed environment and adapting to stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs • Residence and work from one of the employer-approved states • Reliable internet connection and a dedicated, properly equipped workspace free of distractions
