📋 Description

• Perform hands-on testing of native iOS and Android mobile applications, emphasizing Flutter-based applications and mobile user workflows • Design, build, extend, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using Java-based tooling, including Selenium, JMeter, and JUnit • Implement automated functional, integration, regression, and performance-oriented tests • Collaborate with the Test Automation Architect on framework alignment, coding standards, maintainability, and phased automation priorities • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and defect triage • Review user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure requirements are testable and traceable to business outcomes • Create and maintain test cases, test documentation, automation artifacts, execution results, and defect evidence • Document defects in Jira with reproduction steps, expected versus actual results, severity, impact, evidence, and story/criteria linkage • Conduct manual and exploratory testing to identify defects beyond scripted test cases • Work with developers, product owners, business stakeholders, and QA team members to validate fixes and support release decisions • Participate in occasional rotational on-call duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, information technology (IT), or a related discipline • At least 5 years of professional software quality assurance or software testing experience • Active, hands-on experience testing native mobile applications for iOS and Android • Experience testing Dart/Flutter-based mobile applications • Strong familiarity with widget-based cross-platform mobile application architectures • Experience building or substantially extending test automation frameworks • Experience working within CI/CD-integrated environments • Experience with Java-based test automation tooling, including Selenium, JMeter, and JUnit • Experience using Jira for Agile execution, defect tracking, test documentation, and traceability • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery practices and sprint-based software development • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including explaining defects, severity, business impact, and technical findings • Ability to distinguish government supervisory contacts from the contractor management chain and follow federal contracting communication protocols • Experience supporting federal government clients or mission-focused government IT programs • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust suitability determination • Active/prior CBP suitability preferred • Experience with Apple App Store and Google Play Store release and validation activities desired • Ability to work in a fast-paced delivery environment with tight timelines and high accountability • Proactive bug-hunting mindset and ability to identify edge cases and document findings thoroughly
