📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical partner for assigned mission teams throughout application onboarding, deployment, and operations • Guide software development teams in adopting platform capabilities, engineering standards, and best practices • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, platform services, and application integrations • Understand customer technical requirements and recommend platform capabilities supporting mission objectives • Identify recurring technical challenges and develop reusable platform capabilities • Develop solutions simplifying application onboarding, deployment, operations, and lifecycle management • Collaborate with cloud engineers, Kubernetes engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and technical product managers • Improve platform reliability, automation, security, documentation, and operational processes • Develop technical documentation, implementation guidance, knowledge articles, and engineering standards • Participate in architecture discussions, technical reviews, and engineering initiatives • Monitor platform health, identify operational risks, and recommend improvements • Build trusted relationships through responsive technical leadership and customer success • Enable mission teams to adopt and effectively use platform capabilities • Improve customer confidence, platform adoption, developer experience, reliability, operational efficiency, and satisfaction

🎯 Requirements

• Active Secret clearance at time of application • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical discipline • Minimum 6 years of progressively responsible experience designing, building, and operating production Kubernetes platforms • Current CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent Department of Defense-approved Information Assurance certification • Experience engineering and supporting cloud-native platforms, including Kubernetes, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and modern software delivery environments • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, networking, platform services, and software deployments • Experience providing mission-focused technical engagement and building trusted customer relationships • Experience implementing automation, Infrastructure as Code, and operational best practices • Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary engineering teams and influence technical decisions
