📋 Description

• Join GDIT’s team supporting the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts Case Management Systems Office modernization effort • Evaluate system requirements and capabilities for test automation • Set up and configure test automation frameworks in cloud environments • Facilitate continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines • Collaborate with manual testers to prioritize automation for maximum value • Design, develop, and run automated test scripts in the cloud • Develop test procedures to validate and verify requirements and capabilities • Configure test environments and test data sets • Apply software lifecycle management knowledge to application development tasks and testing-cycle planning • Apply in-depth SDLC knowledge to anticipate system complexities • Guide junior and mid-level testers through mentoring, code reviews, and automation strategy contributions • Own automation initiatives, lead framework enhancements, and influence testing direction across distributed Agile teams • Comply with version-control and coding standards • Develop and test software using Agile/Scrum methodology • Work with modern web client technologies and front-end/backend interactions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or another related scientific or technical discipline • 5+ years of experience developing automated test scripts on ReactJS and NodeJS with Selenium, Playwright, Jest, Mocha, Chai, etc. • 5+ years of experience setting up and configuring test automation frameworks in a cloud environment such as AWS or Azure • Experience testing APIs through gateways and cloud services • Expert knowledge of industry-standard cloud-based test automation frameworks • Familiarity with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS concepts and practices • Ability to independently set up and configure test automation frameworks in Azure or AWS • Experience implementing DevOps methodologies, including CI/CD using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps • Experience testing containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc. • Experience managing and executing tests using NUnit and TestNG • Experience developing test plans/procedures, expected outcomes, and verification statements • Comprehensive understanding of Cloud, Agile, and DevSecOps methodology and culture • Working knowledge of source version control and build/release tools and methodologies • Working knowledge of software build processes • Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work with people at every level • US citizenship is not required • No security clearance is required • Preferred: experience developing automated test scripts for complex Java-based web applications
