📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute software solutions addressing business and non-functional requirements • Provide architectural blueprints, hands-on example-driven guidance, and mentoring to development teams • Collaborate with enterprise architecture and security groups to maintain compliance with emerging standards • Create high-level product specifications and multi-level design documents • Determine root causes of complex software issues and implement practical, efficient, permanent solutions • Monitor emerging technologies and vendor packages and make recommendations • Test and review system designs • Ensure adherence to enterprise standards and influence standards changes • Champion DevSecOps and delivery of high-quality, secure code • Serve as a subject-matter expert for IT and business teams • Facilitate Joint Application Design sessions with cross-functional stakeholders when needed • Drive architectural consistency and enterprise-wide integration initiatives • Mentor and influence engineering teams while promoting technical excellence, innovation, and software architecture best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience in addition to the minimum specified experience • 5+ years of technical leadership and software development experience • 2+ years of experience in software architecture roles • Demonstrated success and proven track record in relevant professional/life experience, projects, or industries • Military service may substitute for professional experience and/or formal education requirements • Deep experience designing, developing, and maintaining cloud and traditional hosting infrastructure • Experience with high availability, performance, scale-out architecture, disaster recovery, and security architecture • Knowledge of cloud-based architecture, deployment, and operations for Azure and AWS • Ability to evaluate and analyze complex technological issues and platforms • Knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, web programming, cross-browser compatibility, web UI design, security principles, object-oriented design, REST/SOAP web services, C#, .NET Core, MVC, MS SQL, microservices, Azure Function Apps, and message queuing • Software development experience in an Agile/DevOps environment using Microsoft Azure with CI/CD • Ability to partner with Product, Engineering, Program Management, Operations, and other stakeholders • Hands-on experience developing and maintaining end-to-end solution process flows at high and detailed levels • Experience implementing event- or message-driven distributed architectures • Experience planning and shipping complex software releases in an Agile SDLC • Leadership and mentoring experience with Software Engineers • Excellent analytical, verbal, written, and presentation skills • Consultative mindset bridging technology feasibility and business needs • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance may be required depending on role responsibilities • Must be able to lift up to fifteen (15) pounds
