📋 Description

• Prepare, review, submit, and track tax filings accurately, timely, and compliantly • Support end-to-end filing processes, including reconciliations, payments, notices, amendments, and quarter-end and year-end activities • Work across applicable federal, state, and local tax requirements • Research and resolve filing discrepancies, notices, client questions, and escalations • Partner with clients and internal payroll, client service, and compliance teams • Use tax filing systems and reporting tools to manage work and maintain accurate records • Document procedures and follow standard operating procedures • Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements • Support system testing, training, and implementation for new clients, workflows, or system updates • At Senior Analyst and Manager levels, provide subject matter guidance, coordinate work, and support client meetings • At Manager level, lead team operations, coach and develop colleagues, monitor performance, and drive quality and service improvements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field • Experience with end-to-end tax filing, including preparation or review, submission, and follow-through on filing issues • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills, and clear communication • Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with tax or financial systems • U.S. payroll tax filing experience across federal, state, and local jurisdictions preferred • Experience in public accounting or another tax environment with broad filing responsibilities preferred • Client-facing experience preferred • Experience with tax filing software; MasterTax and ADP SmartCompliance preferred • Experience with quarterly and year-end filing processes, reconciliations, payments, notices, or amendments preferred • Advanced degree and/or certification in a related field preferred • Current and future work authorization in the United States without visa sponsorship by Strada • Successful completion of applicable background checks
