📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web and API layers using TypeScript and Playwright • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to define test strategy, acceptance criteria, and quality gates • Investigate and triage test failures, distinguishing flaky tests from genuine regressions • Write clear bug reports, test plans, and documentation for non-technical stakeholders • Participate in code reviews for test automation code • Advocate for testability in application design • Improve test coverage, execution speed, and automation suite stability • Take ownership of web and API test automation • Build scalable CI/CD testing pipelines and influence engineering culture

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in test automation • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, or JavaScript with willingness to work in TypeScript • Practical experience with Playwright, or similar frameworks such as Cypress or Selenium, with eagerness to adopt Playwright • Solid understanding of test design, API testing, regression testing, exploratory testing, and test data management • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD workflows • Ability to read pipeline logs to debug failures
