📋 Description

• Own production credentials and access across hosting, edge, and third-party services, including rotation and least-privilege design • Manage Cloudflare DNS, TLS, caching, security rules, and Workers with Git-managed configuration deployed through CI • Own weekly releases, hotfixes, and rollbacks, ensuring every release is traceable and verified • Build and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines, required checks, and branch protection • Automate repeated manual checks into CI/CD gates • Monitor error tracking, uptime, and performance, including the Sweed integration • Respond around the clock to true emergencies such as site outages and write blameless incident reviews • Resolve root causes for origin and edge errors and develop Next.js caching strategy with frontend engineers • Triage dependency security advisories and ship upgrades through review and testing • Build tested internal tooling in Python or TypeScript for GitHub, Jira, and delivery processes • Stand up repositories, hosting, edge, monitoring, and access for new brand sites • Convert launch runbooks into automation • Direct and review UpWork contractors assigned to platform work • Participate in two-week Scrum sprints, weekly shipping, code reviews, and sprint commitments

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps, platform, or SRE work on production web applications • Production-depth Cloudflare experience, including writing and deploying Workers • GitHub Actions and weekly release strategy experience, including tagging, hotfixes, and rollback • Secrets management, credential rotation, and least-privilege access experience • Observability with Sentry and an APM such as New Relic or Datadog • Tested automation in Python or TypeScript • Scrum team experience • Daily use of AI coding tools • Clear technical writing for runbooks and incident notes • Reside in a state where Verano currently has business operations for remote eligibility • Nice to have: WP Engine or another managed WordPress host • Nice to have: Next.js in production from the infrastructure side • Nice to have: Terraform or another infrastructure-as-code tool • Nice to have: Load testing and DORA metrics • Nice to have: Jira administration and automation • Nice to have: Regulated industry or multi-brand e-commerce experience
