📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software components supporting an enterprise developer platform • Build reusable tools and services that automate application, API, and software onboarding • Develop backend services and integrations using Python, Go, TypeScript, Java, or comparable languages • Create scalable automation that reduces manual engineering effort and improves consistency • Collaborate with platform architects, software engineers, and cybersecurity professionals • Develop automated onboarding pipelines from source control into the enterprise platform • Automate API and application registration, gateway routes, and security policies • Implement self-service registration workflows for development teams • Integrate validation, approval, compliance, linting, and security checks into onboarding workflows • Develop reusable templates, configuration standards, and onboarding tools • Develop and integrate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or comparable platforms • Design REST APIs and integrate workflows with API gateways • Consolidate application and software inventories into a centralized service catalog • Develop standardized data models for application and API discovery, ownership, and lifecycle management • Create technical documentation, onboarding instructions, and reusable development templates • Gather engineering-team feedback and improve platform usability • Contribute to MVP design, implementation, testing, and delivery • Identify opportunities to expand the platform into an internal developer platform and software factory

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience • Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience developing and maintaining production applications or services • Strong programming proficiency in Python, Go, TypeScript, or Java • Hands-on experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs • Working knowledge of OpenAPI specifications and API documentation standards • Experience developing automation that integrates source control systems with CI/CD pipelines • Experience implementing automated validation, testing, or security checks within software delivery workflows • Experience developing self-service workflows or automated processes with validation and approval steps • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a virtual work environment • Must be a U.S. citizen • Must pass drug tests required by the client's contract
