📋 Description

• Provide advice and counsel to Managers, Supervisors, and Employees on Human Resources matters, including policies and procedures, employee relations, compensation, conflict management, and employee benefits • Administer and interpret Human Resources policies and programs • Provide feedback and counsel on employee relations issues while ensuring compliance with state and federal employment laws • Counsel Managers and Supervisors on employee performance issues and corrective action • Interpret policies and regulations to resolve performance, management, and corrective-action issues fairly and consistently • Partner with business areas to implement individual and organizational development strategies • Present ad hoc training and, where applicable, company-wide training programs and presentations • Respond to employee concerns regarding policies, staffing, and disciplinary actions • Identify, resolve, or refer complex training, compensation, staffing, and employee-relations issues • Support HR projects from inception through implementation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development, or equivalent experience • 2+ years of experience in a major HR function with increasing responsibility • Basic knowledge of employment and labor laws • Basic understanding of employee benefit plans and administration, compensation, and staffing • Basic understanding of change management and organizational development theory and practices • Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills • Effective communication and interpersonal skills • For remote roles, high engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings • Must comply with pre-employment substance abuse testing • Must follow VSP Vision Information Security and Privacy Policies when accessing sensitive personal information
