📋 Description

• Set technical direction across teams and own architecture decisions for the domain • Mentor engineers beyond the immediate 4–5-person squad • Build and maintain AI development skills, agents, rules, and context, including MCP servers and documentation • Use AI coding agents such as Cursor or Claude Code to accelerate delivery and large-scale refactoring and migration • Define review and testing standards for agent-written pull requests, including agentic testing • Teach engineers AI-assisted development through pairing, code review, and shared tooling • Evaluate new AI tools and measure their effectiveness • Lead ambiguous, high-impact projects from planning through delivery • Build secure, scalable, high-performance applications with clean architecture • Write technical specifications and establish performance metrics • Design observability and reliability into systems • Own coding standards and lead peer code reviews • Communicate with distributed technical and non-technical partners • Work primarily in .NET and SQL Server while owning features end to end through the frontend

🎯 Requirements

• Expert in .NET, including C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Web API • Expert in SQL Server • Staff-level track record with years of building and operating production systems • Clear history of raising the bar on engineering teams • AI development process experience required • Experience building and maintaining skills, agents, rules, agent configurations, or MCP integrations for a real codebase and team • Ability to explain how AI-generated code was reviewed and corrected • Full-stack capability from database to UI • Strong Git workflow, including branching, pull requests, and code reviews • Years of experience building and operating production-grade .NET systems • Experience owning scalable, fault-tolerant, performance-critical systems • Strong experience designing REST and/or GraphQL API architectures • Experience with concurrency, data consistency, race conditions, caching, asynchronous processing, and queue-based architectures • Deep expertise in SQL Server schema design, data modeling, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning • Experience with distributed systems and integrations • Experience with event-driven architectures, resilient integrations, retries, idempotency, and failure handling • Strong understanding of JWT, OAuth, and RBAC security fundamentals • Experience with observability and production operations, including logging, monitoring, debugging, and root cause analysis • Experience deploying and operating systems in Azure preferred • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines preferred • Experience building production web applications with React and/or Svelte/SvelteKit • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript • Familiarity with component patterns, application state, and REST/GraphQL API integration • NodeJS experience is a plus • Experience building LLM-powered product features is a plus • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States • Work Truck Solutions does not sponsor H-1B visas
