📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java and Node.js frameworks such as NestJS • Build scalable systems using event streaming technologies such as Kafka • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new platform features and functionalities • Refactor and improve codebases for performance, scalability, and maintainability • Develop and implement RESTful APIs using best practices and design patterns • Work with cutting-edge cloud technologies • Lead new ideas, test and validate them independently, and socialize them with the team • Solve challenging problems alongside engineering teams • Develop new skills and advance the team's technology

🎯 Requirements

• Master's in Computer Science and 2+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer focused on Java and Node.js, or Bachelor's in Computer Science and 4+ years of experience • Experience with SQL Server and/or MongoDB, including efficient queries, schema design, and data security • Familiarity with designing, building, and maintaining RESTful web APIs • Experience using Jira for sprint planning and tracking tasks/bugs • Proficiency with modern IDEs such as VS Code • Familiarity with SOLID principles, design patterns, and unit testing • Exceptional problem-solving and complex debugging skills • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills • Demonstrable contributions to open-source projects • Experience with AWS and GCP, including deploying, monitoring, and scaling applications • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS for virtualization and orchestration • Experience building microservices architectures
