Description

• Manage high-level relationships with current and future publishers, broadcasters and digital media companies and be the day-to-day point of contact for key publishers and shows • Ensure that the sales teams locally and globally have all the information needed to monetize Acast podcasts and help create sales assets to support sales • Help publishers shape their podcast strategy and develop and implement ways to grow their audiences • Provide marketing support and creative direction to assist publishers’ strategy • Provide reporting, and share analysis and research with the team • Guide and assist content partners with integration into systems • Maintain internal tracking documents, as necessary • Liaise and partner with the Marketing team in the US on the execution of local marketing events • Support branded content Sales initiatives and act as a liaison between client and creator • Support with outreach (i.e. cross-promotional/guesting opportunities for podcasters, and pitches) • Attend regular partnership review meetings with podcasters • Ad hoc projects as required

Requirements

• Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal, relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Proficient knowledge and understanding of the Canadian podcast market and audio industry • Team player who is collaborative, creative, highly motivated and a real self-starter • Exceptional verbal and written interpersonal, relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills • Experience working directly with talent, creators and agents is a must • Fluent in both written and spoken French and English is an asset • Experience working cross-departmentally in audio production, journalism, digital media, marketing or branded content is a plus • Tech savviness is a plus with a focus on audio/digital production • Degree Educated (preferred but not essential) • Passionate about podcasting!
