Description

• Hunt for new opportunities: Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects. Use data, research, develop, and maintain a pipeline of prospects. Hunt and execute on sales pursuits. Meet and/or exceed quotas. Schedule meetings and presentations with prospects to understand their needs. Create, plan, and deliver presentations on company service offerings by working closely with in-house technical staff to formulate and create technical proposals. Identify and lead events and drive follow-up. • Maintain and grow customer accounts optimizing revenue opportunities: Develop strong, trusted relationships with customers and help them become our advocate. Develop strong, working relationship with internal account owners and jointly develop account plans and execute on growth opportunities. Stay current with technology trends, industry trends, and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new service offerings. Communicate customer service pain points to management team. • Effectively work through internal processes to support optimization of sales: Participate in regular sales meetings and provide updates to leadership on existing & upcoming opportunities. Track all sales activities in company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly. Maintain accurate sales forecasts. Comply with pricing and profitability guidelines. Work closely with marketing to develop a joint account-based marketing plan and execute on joint strategies. • Maintain a growth mindset. Attend training to learn more technical and professional skills for the job. Build and maintain professional networks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of successful outside sales experience; preferably with medium to large size accounts • 3+ years’ experience selling technology professional services. Must have local network of buyers of services. Preferred background in delivery of technology solutions: roles could include PM, BA, Developer • Ability to discuss technical solutions at a high level and help clients with decision making processes. Experience in generating sales proposals for IT solutions. • Strong skills in qualification, initiative, conceptual selling, overcoming objections, presentation delivery and negotiation. Tenacious hunter focused and skilled at prospecting and closing sales. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization. Well versed in initiating technical solution conversations and directing them towards potential project sales & opportunities. Credible in the client’s business, our service offerings and in professionalism; ability to develop the clients trust easily. Proven / consistent track record of success in achieving and exceeding annual quota and business objectives.
