Description

• Take ownership and drive innovation to enable the Engineering team to deliver high-quality, high-performance code • Establish and continually improve development and team processes that yield efficient results in day-to-day engineering operations. • Provide mentorship to team members, conduct 1:1s, and find continuous improvement opportunities for Engineers on the team. • Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for integration, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing

Requirements

• Experience building and leading high-performing engineering teams working on large projects • Previous experience with building common platform services like Reporting, Dashboard, Identity, Authentication, RBAC etc • An empathetic leadership mindset of proactively setting goals, giving feedback, and cultivating teamwork, delivery, and performance from skilled engineers with a variety of working styles and backgrounds • Familiarity with working in an agile environment focused on rapid delivery and iteration • Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience using them in a remote-first environment • Experience with Postgres SQL, Python, Django, and Looker, and working with SaaS applications and backend SQL databases. Any prior experience with building enterprise security products is a plus but not a requirement • 7+ years of Software Engineering experience as a hands-on engineer • 8+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager
