• Leadership & Strategy - Identify highest impacting system or process impediments across engineering - Initiate and support offshoring/outsourcing to maximize capacity - Provide strategic guidance on buy versus build decisions - Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders • Team Management & Development - Build and lead a high-performing engineering organization - Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback - Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment • Technology Trends & Industry Knowledge - Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends - Evaluate and recommend technology investments - Represent the company in relevant industry events and establish thought leadership

Requirements

• Proven experience (8+ years) leading large engineering functions • Demonstrated expertise in scalable architecture design, API integration, and cloud-based technologies • Experience managing and scaling engineering teams in fast-paced, agile environments • Excellent leadership and communication skills • Track record of successfully driving complex engineering initiatives • Strategic thinker aligning engineering initiatives with overall business objectives • Preferred: Strong understanding of e-commerce and fulfillment operations
