Description

• Develop and drive the cloud data strategy, utilizing cutting-edge public technologies • Oversee the performance and integrity of large-scale databases and datalakes to ensure seamless data retrieval and storage • Generate insightful reports on system performance and propose improvement strategies • Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, and software engineers to implement performance optimizations • Optimize for cost, operations, performance, reliability, and security in designs • Utilize experience with Python-based frameworks on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP to architect infrastructure

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Engineering • 4+ years of experience in development, architecture, data quality, scalability, application security, integration, event-driven, data-driven • 3+ years of experience with MySQL or similar database systems • 2+ years of experience in designing and building scalable, mission-critical distributed software systems • 1+ year of experience in big data platforms • Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting in database systems • Proficiency in data monitoring tools and methodologies to assess system performance
