Description

• Lead work collecting and reviewing existing examples, draft model language, and provide feedback on proposed regulatory language• Coordinate with stakeholders to inform best practices and model regulatory language• Identify and implement regulatory solutions that benefit vulnerable communities and market leaders• Track and support partners and members in regulatory efforts• Participate in the Coalition's strategic planning for multi-state work• Develop metrics to measure progress towards key objectives• Ensure regulatory materials are equitable and inclusive• Be a resource for regulators, policy makers, and stakeholders• Convene meetings and working groups with diverse stakeholders to advance decarbonization efforts• Manage contractors and oversee production of reports and regulatory filings

Requirements

• 5-7 years experience with administrative dockets and influencing regulatory policy• Understanding of public policy making and regulatory environments• Experience with building electrification, power sector, or climate policy• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills• Leadership, relationship-building, and project management skills• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Diplomacy and coalition-building skills• Willingness to travel occasionally• Entrepreneurial drive to build program from the ground up• Experience working with utility regulators• JD and license to practice law in one or more states desired
