📋 Description

• Lead, develop, and empower software engineering teams • Ensure the delivery of high-quality software and support team well-being • Build a high-performance environment • Contribute to scalable, sustainable long-term solutions • Understand system architecture and actively contribute to technical discussions • Guide the development of scalable, reusable solutions for other products • Hold the team accountable for excellence in product monitoring, operation, and maintenance • Manage planning for the implementation of technical solutions • Influence the product backlog and roadmap • Manage technical debt and balance it with business objectives • Optimize workflows, remove blockers, and increase productivity • Contribute to the product vision and roadmap • Plan, manage, and optimize the team budget • Support and influence career development • Ensure appropriate team staffing by leading hiring and internal mobility efforts • Delegate tasks and monitor execution • Identify, address, and resolve conflicts, and provide feedback • Foster an inclusive, safe, and respectful environment • Translate business objectives and customer needs into technical requirements • Build relationships with peers and stakeholders • Align expectations regarding delivery capacity, progress, and value generated

🎯 Requirements

• Senior Tech Manager with substantial experience managing, mentoring, and developing software engineering teams and individual contributors (ICs) • Strong software engineering background • Experience with distributed architectures, microservices, and scalable systems • Experience with cloud computing (AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices • Knowledge of engineering metrics (e.g., DORA Metrics) • Ability to communicate clearly and adapt communication to technical and business audiences • Strong stakeholder relationship management and expectation-setting skills • Executive perspective: able to synthesize complex information and identify key insights • Ability to delegate, mentor, and develop talent • Results-oriented, with a focus on business impact • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Notion, Datadog, or similar tools is a plus
