Description

• Lead a team of 5 engineers through complex and highly impactful projects • Manage multiple work streams and high-priority projects • Drive technical vision and strategy • Cultivate strong partnerships with other interdependent engineering teams • Prioritize growing engineers as leaders and technical experts • Support and foster operational excellence within the team • Perform key people management responsibilities including hiring, onboarding, developing, and supervising team • Conduct performance appraisals and coaching for performance and career growth

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing consumer-facing teams • Relevant hands-on experience with .NET Framework, AngularJS, MongoDB Atlas, Microsoft Azure • Excited by and experience in leading the process to modernize a technology platform • Experience with continuous delivery and continuous integration practices and platforms • Ability to review code and architecture for flaws (code-smell) • Major plus for relevant experience with technologies like Spring Boot, Kotlin, Angular, Redis, Datadog, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS • Excellent knowledge of building systems in a distributed environment • Equally comfortable as both technical contributor and motivating leader • Inclusive leader comfortable leading in ambiguity and driving toward clarity • Provide constructive AND positive feedback to team and peers • Strong understanding of and experience with HIPAA compliance and other healthcare data regulations
