• Cloudflare is seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Technical Program Manager with experience driving security compliance projects to join our team. • Your main responsibility will be to work cross functionally across the product, engineering, security compliance, and legal organizations to build and execute on the overall strategy for pursuing compliance projects. • You will play an active part in collecting requirements, setting up deliverables, reporting progress, managing stakeholder expectations and working with various functions to deliver success. • This job involves managing multiple stakeholders and accommodating teams dispersed across multiple time zones. • The ideal candidate is process driven but remains flexible and iterative, someone who loves to tackle new challenges, really enjoys bringing people together as a team, and driving them towards success. • You will be reporting into the Engineering Program Management Organization (PMO). • Major areas of responsibilities: - Understand technical requirements of assigned compliance programs - Understand Cloudflare products and how the technology is applied in Federal sector - Effectively balance risk and achieve business objectives - Obtain clear requirements, plans, and decisions to proactively tackle critical gaps and mitigate risk - Drive creation and roll out of scalable processes to meet compliance policies and procedures - Set up regular feedback cycles and ensure buy-in from contributors on program plan & roadmap - Promote a culture of security compliance across the organization - Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management
• BS+ in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security or related field or equivalent experience • 5+ years experience in project management or/3+ yrs experience in program management • Proven track record on creating realistic project plans, and overseeing execution to meet commitments and deliver with predictability • Excellent oral and written communication. • Experience working with multiple time zones and multiple cross functional teams. • Strong competency with Confluence, JIRA (admin-level experience strongly preferred), and various development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Kaizen, Scrum, etc). • Previous experience with driving US compliance certification (NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, SOC2, FedRamp Moderate/High, PCI-DSS, etc)
• Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location • For Colorado-based hires and Washington hires: Estimated annual salary of $147,000
