Description

• Collectors is looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer to work on cutting-edge technical projects • You will design and build machine learning models for classification, regression, and machine vision problems • The nearest term projects include using machine vision for digital grading and building ML models for card value estimation and recommendations • You will report to the Director of Engineering, Machine Learning and can work from any of the US offices or remotely • In-person collaboration is valued and you may be required to be onsite if you live within a 1 hour commuting distance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or related field (Master's degree is a plus) • 5+ years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role • Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks and libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, scikit-learn) • Strong coding skills in Python, experience with Go is a plus • Experience building computer vision, image recognition, NLP models using neural networks and transformers • Experience with Kubernetes, data structures, and software architecture • In-depth knowledge of mathematics, probability statistics, and algorithms • Understanding of Generative AI, Random Forest, and Gradient Boosting Machines (LightGBM, XGBoost, CatBoost) • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
