📋 Description
• Perform general accounting work to maintain the department’s general ledger • Analyze the department’s chart of accounts and financial statements by identifying and analyzing variances • Analyze, record, and report accounting transactions in a timely manner • Prepare general ledger entries and account reconciliations • Respond to inquiries from management, internal and external auditors, the Sarbanes-Oxley audit group, and others regarding financial results and special reporting requests • Keep organizational information confidential
🎯 Requirements
• College, university, or equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required • Minimal relevant professional work experience in the field of study required • Knowledge of financial analysis • Knowledge of financial internal controls • Knowledge of financial regulations • Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
