• Conducting medical necessity reviews for pharmacy requests and appeals • Addressing the medical necessity of previously denied services • Reviewing clinical information (medical records) and treatment guidelines • Collaborating with peer coordinators for peer-to-peer calls • No doctor/patient relationship established, advisory-only opinions

Requirements

• Active Connecticut license in one of the listed specialties • Willingness to obtain a Connecticut license if needed • Ability to complete multiple cases per hour • No need to maintain an active practice while conducting reviews • Ability to work based on schedule availability
