Description
• Evaluate, classify and underwrite individual applications and benefits within approval limits, up to $2,500.00 • Consult with field (Agent/DM, etc.) regarding current or potential life insurance applications to review underwriting requirements, guidelines, and practices • Work on complex business cases, such as buy/sell arrangements, deferred compensation, split dollar and executive bonuses
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent • 5 years of Life Underwriting experience, including at least 2 years as a Senior Life Underwriter (or comparable experience) • Understand compliance and regulatory landscape within the scope of underwriting • Strong PC skills with emphasis in MS Office • Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills
