📋 Description

• Manage and lead multiple software engineering teams • Set clear objectives and priorities aligned with departmental and organizational goals • Define and execute departmental strategies, including resource allocation, budgeting, and technology adoption • Collaborate with department heads and executives to align software initiatives with company strategy • Foster innovation and technical excellence within the software engineering department • Mentor and coach software managers and organizational leaders • Oversee complex software projects, monitor progress, and address challenges • Track industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices for continuous improvement • Participate in hiring and onboarding • Set and evaluate performance goals to attract and retain top talent • Develop risk mitigation strategies • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of professional experience and/or training required • 8+ years of experience in software development • Proven record of accomplishment managing and leading software teams • Strong strategic planning skills • Strong project management skills • Excellent communication abilities • Excellent leadership abilities • Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection for remote/hybrid work • Home workspace with limited disruption • Fiber, cable, or DSL internet service required for remote/hybrid work
