Description

• Responsible for understanding the company’s business requirements • Conducting user research and surveys to gain insight • Translating goals and learnings into mockups, prototypes, user flows, and customer journey maps • Designing the overall functionality of the product and iterating upon it per user testing • Identifying design problems and devising solutions for an intuitive user experience • Building mockups & prototypes using best practices, modern design principles, and knowledge of user psychology • Conducting user testing and surveys to assess user experience and ease of design • Working with other designers, the Director of Product & Marketing, and the development team to manage new projects • Keeping abreast of competitor products and industry trends

Requirements

• Two to three (2-3) years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design • Strong portfolio of design projects • Great understanding of design tools and resources (ex. Figma) • Experience in project management and research • Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently • A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design and design thinking • Analytical mind with a business acumen • Excellent communication skills
