Description

• Director of UX Design for Concentric by Ginkgo, enhancing and expanding the global biosecurity enterprise management platform • Leading a team of 2-3 product designers • Collaborating cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and data analysts • Formalizing and growing the product design function • Establishing and measuring UX metrics • Mentoring and empowering the team in a fast-paced environment • Maintaining strong partnerships and relationships with stakeholders and developers • Total compensation market driven with a starting salary of $120k+, plus company stock awards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 6 years of experience, or Master’s with 4 years in professional design • 2 years leading teams and/ or managing designers • Trained in agile methodologies and experience in fast-paced product development • Mastery of design skills in Figma and other necessary design tools • Advocate for Human Centered Design and Design Thinking methodologies • Experience defining, measuring, and communicating impact of design driven solutions • Portfolio demonstrating work on commercialized products
